Wilhelmsburg is the most intercultural district of Hamburg, with over half of its inhabitants sharing a migration background.
“An die Löffel, Fertig, Los!” is the idea of German teacher Nina Köhler, to bring her profile class to cook, write down and publish their own intercultural recipes.
The pupils aged 15-16 were given art courses and workshops about text, illustration, handmade typography and communication design by Gundi Wiemer, Isabelle Erler, Larissa Bertonasco and myself. Through a minimalistic and clear grid, the layout succeeds in maintaining each pupils own illustration style with a professional touch.
